Reporting an error
Please do. Corrections from students are as welcome as corrections from instructors, and a typo you noticed at eleven at night is worth reporting even if you are not certain.
What helps most:
- The page number, and the table, figure or exercise number
- What it says, and what you think it should say
- Which printing you have — it is on the copyright page, on the back of the title page
Corrections to the online materials
Errors in the online solutions or in a dataset are fixed at the source and republished, rather than listed here — there is no printing to wait for. If a solution is wrong, tell me and it will be corrected.
